Search \ Case \ Basic Info Tab
When initially viewing a Case, the Case View screen will appear, showing the Basic Info tab by default.
The Basic Info tab immediately under the Case number will show you basic information regarding the case.
Persons, Items, Media, Notes and History (tabs) associated with the case will also be shown here.
The fields immediately under the tabs (such as Case Number and Offense Type etc.) have been filled in by the person who submitted the case.
Clicking the Edit box (Case shown below) will allow you to edit and change any information shown on the Case View screen.
This will depend on your permission level. You may edit any fields not grayed out such as the Org / Office.
For example, if a User inadvertently enters an incorrect Case Number or Offense Type, you may be allowed to change it by clicking Edit, making those changes, then clicking Save.
An Administrator (Org Admin) may also enter specific Review Date Notes as shown below.
