SAFE Mobile App - Random Audits
After logging in to the SAFE Mobile App, if you click the 3 horizontal bars in the top lefthand corner of your screen, you'll be taken to the Nav Menu.
You may then click Random Audits to run a Random Audit Report which can be used for accreditation, for example.
On the Random Audits screen, you will be shown Active Random Audits that have been stored in the system.
You may now simply click the blue circle with the white plus sign to get started.
First, enter a required Random Audit Report Name.
Next, you may select from an Item Category or click the radial button to Select Items from all categories.
Then, either enter a Storage Location by clicking the dropdown field, or Scan a Location Barcode.
You may wish to also Include Sublocations, or Include Items in Containers.
By default, Status for Checked In, Checked Out, and Disposed will be selected.
However, you will most likely only want to Audit Checked In Items, so uncheck the other two.
Next, choose a Subset Type. Either Number or Percentage of Items.
We see 3 Items have been chosen as the Total Items Used in this Report.
Finally click Ok.
You may now begin searching for Items SAFE has chosen for you to Audit.
You may choose to select Found in Under 5 Minutes, Found in Proper Location, etc., but that is not required.
To begin scanning Item Barcodes, click the Camera Icon.
To see details about an Item, in the Item Barcode field, click the blue piece of paper and pencil.
When you have finished scanning Item Barcodes click Run Report.
Your Random Audit Report will then be shown.
As we can see, there are 3 Items that were Not Scanned, so those will need to be fixed.
If you click the dropdown menu in the Not Scanned field, the Items that were Not Scanned will be shown.
You may click the piece of paper with a pencil to the right of the Note field to add Notes to any Discrepancies that were found.
You may also click the Fixed radial button and move on to the next Item.
If you'd like to Print your Random Audit Report, that can be accomplished by logging in to the Web Application, saving your report as a .pdf and then printing it out.
If you click the 3 horizontal bars in the top lefthand corner of your screen, you'll be taken back to the Nav Menu.
You may then click Random Audits to go back to the Random Audit screen where you can see the Random Audit report which was created.
If you would like to View a Random Audit, click the light-blue piece of paper or the report name.
However, if you would like to Hide a Random Audit from view, click the light-blue eye with the line through it.
You will then see a 'pop-up' asking Would you like to hide this report?
Choosing 'Yes' will hide the report from view.
However, if you click Hidden, your Random Audit Report will be shown.
