User Settings and Multi-Factor Authentication

Click User Settings from the Nav Menu on the left-hand side of the screen.
This will take you to the User Settings screen. Here, you can edit your First and Last Name, Phone Number etc.

By clicking the Date Time Format, you can choose from a number of different options, including military time.
We have added the option for Users to be able to see times in military time. However, during Case/Item entry, the time is still listed in regular time.
You have to select a regular time, and then it is converted to military time once you select the date.

You may also choose from a variety of other selections, such as ISO 8601, or a different display of how the month/day/year is presented.

Users may individually check Use Date Without Time and Time will be removed from their Case and Item entry screens.

For those needing an added level of site security, SAFE supports 'Google Authenticator' Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).
Simply download the Google Authenticator app on your phone and go to your User Settings. Edit your settings and enable Google Authenticator.
This will force a screen scan and setup of MFA. Upon your next login, you will be required to enter the MFA code for the site.

What is Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA)? MFA is a security system that requires more than one method of authentication from independent categories of credentials to verify the User’s identity for a login or other transaction. It provides an additional layer of security.
